Simplicity was paramount for this project... both in ease of use and aesthetics. But importantly, the clients didn't want to compromise quality while accomplishing this goal.

These clients lead particularly busy lives, and they need to monitor and control their home whether they are in town or around the world. Additionally, given that their home would be virtually all glass, it was very important that they be able to control the Lutron lighting and Lutron motorized shades we installed - plus their HVAC system - all with the push of a button on their iPad.

For added convenience, if a friend or tradesman needed to get into their home while they were out of town, it was important for them to give them access via a touch of a button.

When it's time to relax, unwind and enjoy a movie, they want to be thoroughly engaged with what they were watching, and since the living room was just too clean and beautiful to muck up with a massive home theater system, we hid it for them!

The living room now features a full 5.2 surround sounds system with high-performance, hidden, in-wall speakers and subwoofers paired with a projector that retracts and hides in the ceiling when not in use! Music is distributed throughout the entire residence as well.

All the equipment and speakers in this home are concealed, and there is not a single wire in sight! Everything is controlled via a simple and intuitive iPad and iPhone interface, thanks to the Savant smart system that we installed and customized.
